The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has funded more innovative, groundbreaking CF research than any other organization worldwide. They have invested hundreds of millions of dollars into CF research and drug development. The results of these bold investments have been astonishing. Because of our efforts, people with cystic fibrosis live longer, healthier lives and pursue dreams they never thought possible. Based on 2022 Registry data, the life expectancy of people with CF born between 2018 and 2022 is predicted to now be 56 years old! Which has more than doubled in the last 30 years. Despite this progress, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies. Our vision is a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis and a life free from the burden of this disease.
